It's about 4 minutes until halftime. What a great game! The score is 10 to 7 (AZ leading).

I'm impressed with Miles, the new coach. He seems to be mixing it up with the offense and is reminiscent of Saban with his offensive style.

What's disapointing with this game is the shitty defensive coverage and the fucking Sun Devil bent of the refs. What the fuck?

On a lighter note, (or heavier) Laurie tanked me today with my diet. I was doing good until she suggested we "slide" tonight and eat snacks during the game. My father in law and brother in law are over watching the game. I made "hogs in a sleeping bag", which is a bigger version of pigs in a blanket (e.g. sausage in big fucking crescent rolls) and I must have eaten at least 20 (maybe 30) pizza rolls. Add to that the bottle of wine that I drank (minus the one glass that my sister in law drank), two beers (and counting), and the tylenol 3 that I took about an hour ago. So, I think I've gained about 40,000 pounds tonight and I'm also on the opening stanza of my pain killer addiction. I love it when a plan comes together.

The Cowboys are playing tomorrow at 3, so I'll have to watch them as well. It's amazing how much mediocrity you can take when you are watching it in High Definition TV. I'll be even more stoked when Hockey season comes back in full swing.
